One thing though... The Princess Royal sitting for a portrait is not in The Royal Closet but in the Throne Room, look at the ceiling ant the overdoor carvings. The proportion of the room looks wrong on the picture, but it surely is th Throne Room :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14174153786906656808noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5496315488262026526.post-14928611001192854122017-02-18T21:16:35.367+13:002017-02-18T21:16:35.367+13:00Oh, I didn't know they did such courses, how f...Oh, I didn't know they did such courses, how fascinatingDon001https://www.blogger.com/profile/01616610232620567907noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5496315488262026526.post-19426689992883366652017-02-18T21:13:35.746+13:002017-02-18T21:13:35.746+13:00Fabulous photos. The picture I am particularly interested in is the first in the blog, which is "The original frontage of Buckingham Palace as designed by Edward Blore, and viewed from St James's Park Lake, 1897." My sister and I published a Victorian themed children's book last year entitled Victorian Cat Tales: The Life and Times of Rose and Leopold. We use period images from the public domain as backdrops for the sculptures my sister creates. We are working on the sequel, due to the publisher soon, and we need a backdrop of Buckingham Palace gardens. I would love to use your image, and I can credit you if you give me something to include. Here is the website for our book: www.victoriancattales.com Thank you for considering. Unless otherwise stated under an image all are simply taken from various Internet sources but as I collected them over a number of years I didn't always record the source as at the time I wasn't thinking of creating a Blog with them. So yes, most of these low resolution images are in the public domain.Don001https://www.blogger.com/profile/01616610232620567907noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5496315488262026526.post-63745509662091807062014-06-23T07:09:39.314+12:002014-06-23T07:09:39.314+12:00These are wonderful images.
